2008 PG Donovan Foster Picks Detroit

The Chicago Public League has always been known for producing a plethora of Division I guards, and today 5-10 Donovan Foster of Curie continued that tradition by committing to the University of Detroit of the Horizon League.
"I committed to Detroit tonight," said Foster. "I visited the campus this Saturday and I really liked it. I liked the coaching staff and I liked that I might get a chance to come in and play immediately. I love the way they use their guards, they like small guards. They just offered at the in-home visit on the 19th, and I plan on going back this Friday to visit the campus again with my assistant coach. They have been recruiting me since the end of the AAU season, and I'm excited to be going there."

Donovan is a small, hard nosed guard that is very quick with the ball in his hands. He is a superb outside shooter and is great at penetrating the lane. He is a pure point guard and is very good at setting up his teammates.
Donovan played in the Mac Irvin Fire backcourt this spring and summer alongside DePaul commit Jeremiah Kelly and Oregon State commit Ryan Hare. Donovan will be playing at Curie this season on a star studded team that also features freshman Wayne Blackshear and Greg Travis, as well as 6-10 senior center Steve Goins.
You can catch Foster play this Sunday at the Full Package Exposure League brought to you by The Poneman Report.
