DePaul lost to Louisville Wednesday night, losing 79-58 at the All State Arena. Despite only being down nine points at halftime, DePaul once again struggled in the second half. DePaul shot 35.9% from the field, compared to 46.4% for Louisville. Junior guard Brandon Young led DePaul with 22 points and 6 assists. Cleveland Melvin added 20 points, as Melvin and Young combined to scored 42 of DePaul's 58 points.

DePaul's supporting cast failed to provide other legitimate scoring options for the Blue Demons. Every other Blue Demon combined to shoot 24% from the field.
