DePaul Lands First 2012 Commitment
DePaul is adding rather than subtracting this time.
DePaul made a splash on the recruiting trail today with the commitment of class of 2012 forward DeJuan Marrero. He was on an unofficial visit to DePaul today when he made the decision.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Gary, Ind. native plays for Bowman Academy in Indiana. As a junior, Marrero averaged 22.1 ppg, 15.3 rpg, 2.4 apg, 2.1 spg and 3.3 bpg.
Though undersized, Marrero is a player that embraces the toughness that goes with playing inside the arc. He is known for his relentless and physical play, which helps make him a strong defender.
